Dave asked me to post pictures of our house in Gardendale, so here they are. There are more pictures of the yard, but these show a good portion of it. We have about 2 acres total, and only about 1/2 an acre is wooded. Plus, our yard is next to a vacant lot that belongs to the nursing home, so we use their yard as ours, too. :) It's great for frisbee. Enjoy.
